Having to keep track of so many things to ensure success can be a demanding task. Chances are you’ll crash, explode, spin out of control, or run out of fuel before you get it right.
While many would argue that FromSoftware revolutionized the concept of difficult games, creating experiences that reward skill, patience, and perseverance, the Souls titles weren’t the first to employ this strategy.
The erratic movement patterns of enemies, the constantly respawning enemies, the ticking timer, and countless other factors make progression in Ghosts ‘n Goblins an exercise in futility at times. Whereas Souls games at least leave room for progressing your character, this doesn’t. Practice helps, but never makes perfect.

Thirty-six years after a gimpy Kirk Gibson limped to the plate to smack a Game 1 walk-off homer, Freddie Freeman came to the plate on a badly injured right ankle with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th and belted the first walk-off grand slam in World Series history to send the Dodgers to an electrifying 6-3 victory over the Yankees on Friday night at a sold-out Dodger Stadium.

The Dodgers followed by splurging more than $1 billion in an offseason headlined by Ohtani and Yamamoto then added three critical pieces — Flaherty, Tommy Edman and Michael Kopech — before the trade deadline. When October came, they showed they would not be denied.

When the game 3 of the world series

Judge rocked a double to left and Chisholm followed up with a walk, and the House That Jeter Built was once again rocking. But Treinen got Stanton to fly out and struck out Anthony Rizzo, stranding Judge and Chisholm and stymying what ended up being the Yankees’ best shot at getting back in the game.
Even though he’s in the lineup, it remains to be seen if Ohtani is at the full extent of his capabilities. But either way, the Dodgers are in a great position in this Series. Both games at Dodger Stadium came down to a bases-loaded situation, and they both ended with an L.A. victory. Now, the Dodgers are just two wins away from their second World Series title in the last five years and their first in a full season since 1988.
Following two days of conversation over whether Shohei Ohtani would be able to swing a bat after popping his left shoulder out of its socket late in Game 2, Ohtani didn’t need to swing at all to reach base out of the leadoff spot in the first. Yankees starter Clarke Schmidt walked him on four pitches. And one out later, Freeman, whose Game 1 walk-off grand slam and important insurance swat in Game 2 already had him in pole position for the World Series MVP honor, connected on a cutter upstairs to send it over the short porch in right field and quickly give the Dodgers a 2-0 edge.
Police noted that there reports of looting at stores in the area and that projectiles were thrown at officers earlier in the evening as well. Mayor Karen Bass had earlier warned residents that “violence will not be tolerated.”
